Placentia LIft Bridge Update May 16
The bridge is open to vehicular traffic. Currently there is a temporary power source in place that allows for lifts for marine traffic between 5am - 9am and 2pm -6pm daily. No night time lifts at this time.
Council Meeting Date
The next public Council meeting is scheduled for May 22, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers. All residents are welcome to attend.

Cardboard Toboggan Race Rules
All riders must wear a helmet
Toboggans must be made of cardboard and held together with only tape and glue. NO wood, metal, fiberglass, plastic, or rope can be used in the construction of the toboggan.
Accessories of different materials that are not part of construction are permitted providing they do not pose a safety concern.
Bottoms of toboggans must be cardboard and can be painted only (no plastic or tape coverings, only seams and joints may be taped, not the whole toboggan.
You must be able to stop your sled. Keep this important feature in mind when designing and building your sled.
Your sled must be free of sharp edges, pointy objects, or any other feature that may be deemed dangerous
TOBOGGANS WILL BE DISQUALIFIED FOR ILLEGAL MATERIAL USE.
