2019 Pre-Budget Consultation

Have Your Say - The Town of Placentia is seeking input for Council consideration for the 2019 Municipal Budget.  You are invited to submit feedback here.   Pre-Budget Consultation Form   We also invite you to attend our public pre-budget consultation to be held from 7:00-8:00pm on Thursday, November 8 at the Placentia Bay Cultural Arts Centre.

Fire Hazard Index Low

Fire Hazard Index for Placentia region has returned to LOW. Conditions are normal for travel and work in wooded and grassy areas. Burning under permit is allowed and open fires are permitted in outside fireplaces etc. Residents are reminded to use caution with activities in the forest and on trails.

$50 (child + adult)  

Let local artisit Christopher Newhook walk you and your child through this winter birches painting.  All painting supplies and instructions are included.  Aprons will be supplied but wear old comfortable clothes as well.  Register by emailing arts@placentia.ca or text/call 227-6697 to confirm space.
