Placentia Fire Chief Wins 2025 Volunteer Fire Chief of the Year Award!
The Town of Placentia is proud to recognize Fire Chief Wayne Power of the Placentia Volunteer Fire Department as the recipient of the 2025 Volunteer Fire Chief of the Year Award, presented by the Canadian Association of Fire Chiefs (CAFC) in partnership with Fire Underwriters Survey.
This prestigious national award honours exceptional leadership, dedication, and service within the volunteer fire sector. It is awarded annually to a volunteer fire chief who exemplifies outstanding commitment to public safety, innovation in fire service delivery, and unwavering support for their department and community.
Chief Power received this well-deserved recognition during Fire-Rescue Canada 2025, the annual national conference of the CAFC, held in Winnipeg, Manitoba, on September 23, 2025.
