Call for Members – Community Recreation Committee
Purpose
The Town of Placentia is establishing a Community Recreation Committee to help guide the future of local recreation services and facilities.
Open Call for Membership
We are inviting community members who are passionate about recreation, athletics, and community wellbeing to join our Community Recreation Committee. All interested individuals are encouraged to join. From this established general membership, an Advisory Board will be elected.
Committee Duties
- Identify current and future recreation needs in our community.
- Advise on programming, facility use, and accessibility.
- Highlight opportunities for partnerships and funding.
- Provide input into long-term recreation planning and infrastructure development.
How to Become a Member
Fill out a short application form below or pick up a form at the Town Hall. All membership forms must be received by Wednesday, November 26, 2025.
