The Town of Placentia has received reports that individuals are contacting residents and local businesses to request donations on behalf of various Volunteer Fire Departments.
Please be advised that this is not an authorized initiative of either the Town of Placentia or the Placentia Volunteer Fire Department.
Residents and businesses are urged to use caution when receiving unsolicited requests for donations. We recommend not providing personal or financial information over the phone unless you can independently verify the legitimacy of the request.
